Lupe Fiasco delivered one of this year’s best rap albums in Tetsuo & Youth. The Chicago MC is planning to ride off that momentum, announcing he will be dropping three albums next year.

Continue after the jump…..

“Attention Lupe Fans: 3 full album releases in 2016. #Drogas is up first,” Lupe tweeted to his 1.3 million followers. Drogas will serve as the first full-length project fans will receive sometime next year.

The news comes just a few days after Fiasco revealed he’ll be dropping The Cool 2 in 2017. Released in 2007, The Cool is Lupe’s most successful album to date, lead by the single “Superstar.” ““The Cool” celebrates its 8th birthday today. The Cool is dead….long live The Cool 2. Winter 2017,” said Lupe, celebrating its 8-year-anniversary last Friday.

Fiasco will be hitting the road for the 17-date “Tour For The Fans,” starting Jan. 13 in Seattle, WA. Fans can purchase tickets by clicking here.
