Kendrick was born on November 10 1984 with his original names being Kendrick La’Dale Perkin. He currently plays for Cleveland Cavaliers although he has also played for Boston Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder both in the NBA. His basketball career started while he was still in high school where he played for Ozen High where he guided them to one state championship and four district championships.

He began his NBA career as a center for Memphis but he was drafted with a 27th pick in the 2003 season. He was transferred to Celtics where his playing time increased significantly. He played for Celtics from 2004 to 2011 after which he did not return for the 2011 season opting to play for the Oklahoma where he played from 2011 to 2015. After that he moved to Cleveland this yera where he is playing this season.
