J.Cole is showing more and more that he’s a man of good deeds first and a rapper second.

Young Jermaine made a recent visit to The Combat Jack Show, where he talked about “Fire Squad,” holding back on talking to the media and being a key voice in his generation. In addition to that, Cole opened up on his plans to establish a place of free-housing for single mothers.

From anyone who listens to the humble rapper’s music, they know his childhood story of a fatherless struggle and his decision can allude to his single mother’s journey to raising him alone. Cole has been making strides in his career, especially with the latest release of his certified gold album 2014 Forest Hills Drive. We tip our hat to him.

If you didn’t get a chance to do so before, listen to J.Cole’s heartfelt explanation of his vision below.
