Katt Williams‘ name has been attached to bizarre headline after bizarre headline the last couple of months.

From slapping Target employees to assaulting members of his own audience with microphones, it appears something is seriously not right with this guy but someone very close to the comedian is coming to his defense… Suge Knight.

Man’s Ceiling Falls On His Family, But He Continues Interview

That’s right. Suge who was present at Katt Williams’ most recent arrest in Seattle for a bar fight tells TMZ, the funny-man’s recent spiral of bizarre behavior is a result of fan harassment.

He tells the site:

“People test him because he’s small and the best comedian of all time.”

The former Deathrow head honcho, who has been involved in a couple controversial incidents himself, says fans forget Katt Williams is a real person with real feelings and crack jokes on his hair and height. It’s pretty hard to believe that a comedian doesn’t know how to take jokes but Suge continues:

“When people see him, they don’t separate the Katt Williams on stage from the Katt Williams just being a regular person.”

The site also reports:

Suge compares Katt’s “rough spell” to Mike Tyson’s and Richard Pryor’s — “That’s what happens when you’re the best in the business. Sometimes you just have rough times.

“The Seattle bar fight is just one example — Suge says he and Katt were watching the Seahawks game, but cheering for Chicago … which pissed off local bar patrons … who then started a fight with Katt.

Suge adds, “Things like that happen to Katt all the time where people start with him. He just don’t take no sh*t.”

Well hopefully folks can stay out of Katt’s way. This is clearly a man not to be messed with.
