Twenty years ago, back in 1992, McLaren Automotive raised the supercar performance bar with

the McLaren F1, setting the world land-speed record for a production car, which is regarded as

one of the iconic sports car of the modern age. Now, with a vision to make an ultra-exciting, most

technologically advanced, most capable, and most dynamically accomplished supercar, McLaren

Automotive will unveil its ultimate supercar, the gen-next Mclaren P1. Aimed to be the world’s best

driver car on road and track and to redefine McLaren’s F1 legacy once again, the exclusively new

Mclaren P1 takes much of its spiritual and technological inspiration from the company’s F1 Racing

division. Defined to be the result of a total of 50-years of legendary road car and racing heritage, the

Mclaren P1 will be previewed as a design study at the Paris Motor Show, Mondial de l’Automobile

2012. And next year, a production vehicle, which the McLaren Automotive intents to put on sale

within 12-months, will be officially revealed.
