We all knew Azealia Banks wasn’t a fan of fellow femcee Iggy Azalea, but who knew it started last summer?

Azealia Banks has been mouthing off about the native Australian rapper ever since last summer at the CMJ Awards.

She tweeted:

“And f*ck Iggy Azalea, I had a song called ‘Pussy’ before she ever did. Here’s a link to my song. It’s better.”

Azalea responded to Banks on Twitter, but initially insisted that there was no real beef between them.

Trying to keep it classy in response, she tweeted:

“The best think you can be is humble, because it’s not about who did it first; it’s about who did it better.”

Banks has been pushing Azalea hard though, especially about her “runaway slave master” lyric.

The Harlem-based rapper took to her Twitter to blast Azalea indirectly again:

“Fuck white girls. They are privileged and shouldn’t be allowed to rap, because rap is black culture.”

Azalea hasn’t responded back, but she told interviewer Brooklyn Martino that she thinks music is everyone’s culture and it belongs to everyone.

We would love it if all of the women in the rap community could get along and unite, but it doesn’t look like it’s in the cards for now.
